pittsburgh: My husband and I are considering moving to Pittsburgh, PA this Summer, and we have limited info of how life will be like living in Pittsburgh (based on internet research). Aside from that, we will be moving from Hawaii so it'll be a big move/life change so we just want to have an idea of what we'll be getting ourselves into. And also, we have 2 little girls that we hope will enjoy life wherever we go.|||I live in Pittsburgh and I absolutely love it here. Bethel park has great neighborhoods and Carnegie is a good atmosphere . The culture here is great Pittsburgh kinda of has a language of it's own you'll notice people talk alot different here and the people here for the most part are pretty friendly and alittle old school. Pittsburgh it known for it's medicine and the hospitals here are great and st. Judes hospital will treat you without charge if you can't avord it- the cons of Pittsburgh I guess is there's a traffic problem when you get in the city or fort Pitt tunnel. THE BIGGEST CON is if your not a sports fan you might not fit in because Pittsburgh is a big sports city we have the pens and the steelers and fans here are like no other city but you can easily get into sports.|||Another two cons that you didn't mention to the move from Hawaii would be the lack of a nearby beach (closest would be Atlantic CIty NJ at about 7 hour drive) and the deep freezes in winter.
