My girlfriend used to eat a lot of sl氓ttebr酶d during her stay in Norway, now that she's back in the states she hasn't been able to find a store selling it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find a store that sells it around Pittsburgh? It's highly preferred to buy it somewhere over making it.|||i like bread

I am having trouble determining if I should move to Pittsburgh PA or Toronto Canada. I like both places but Pittsburgh is closer to where I live to I could see my family. And I like Canda because I think it would be cool to live in another country. So could someone please tell me the positive and negative things about both places, and where I should move! Thanks!!

PS- I want to become a LPN, so which one would also be better for me?|||I am unaware of the differences by country as far as wages and working conditions for a practical nurse, but I do know that moving to Canada can be a hectic experience. I myself (going into audiology) was interested in moving to Canada as well, but decided not to do so because of the complexities and base costs of being even a U.S. to Canada immigrant.

Here are some web resources to check out.

http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/content鈥?/a>

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/i鈥?/a>

Best of luck! Hope you decide upon whichever makes you happiest.

BTW: Just to add one more fact, Canada is in a better economic state at the moment, however, I am not sure that economic conditions are affecting medical professions in the United States.|||The cost of living is much lower in Pittsburgh. Housing costs are very cheap compared with other cities. The lagging U.S. economy hasn't affected Pittsburgh as much as other areas. And if you're in a medical field, Pittsburgh is the place to be.

That said, Canada is much cooler, more urban, more international. I love visiting there, but couldn't afford to live there in more than a basement apartment. (I know because we looked into it.)|||If you want to move to Canada, here is a link to the Canadian government web site with the information.

You can take this test to see if you might qualify

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/s鈥?/a>

One of the most popular ways of entering Canada is as a skilled worker. Follow this link to see if you are eligible

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/s鈥?/a>

However, Canadian employers will often not hire a person without Canadian employment experience, which you cannot get until someone offers you a job. The problem is that so many previous immigrants from countries other than the US, the UK, Australia, New Zealand or north western Europe have had false credentials that Canadian employers are wary of hiring people from other places than I listed.

The process of moving to Canada can take up to three years and can cost $10,000 in government fees. Permanent residency in Canada is not free.

If you are a US citizen, an easier to way to work in Canada, at least on a temporary basis may be under NAFTA. However, you must be a member of certain specialty occupations. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/specia鈥?/a>

These occupations are listed here.

As well, if you are an H-1B visa holder in the USA, you may be eligible to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

Also note that you do not need to know any French to immigrate to Canada unless you plan to live in the province of Quebec.|||Don't just move here b/c its cool to live in another country. Living in Toronto is expensive. Having said that, nursing jobs are in demand in Canada (I don't know about the practical nurse, its the ones that work in hospitals that are in demand). Can't comment on Pittsburgh...it would be nice to live close to family so if you can get a job there its a bonus.|||Pittsburgh is booming right now. It is one of the rare city with money flowing in rather than going bankrupt.

If you happen to be in Science or Medical field, Pittsburgh is definitely the place to be (http://www.upmc.com/mediarelations/Pages鈥?/a>

There are a lot of things to do too. Check out some of the Pittsburgh events at this site (http://www.eventsburgh.com) and you will see what Pittsburgh can offer.|||I would definitely say Canada.
Besides, the U.S. is kinda in a bit of financial trouble right now, and the Canadian dollar is higher than the U.S. dollar right now. Also, canadians have health care for free. :)|||canada|||Canada is amazing. Love the people and food way more!

  • Would ez pass help me driving from pittsburgh to toronto?|||It works at the international border crossings (ie the bridges) but that's the last time you'd need it.|||Only in the USA. It doesn't work in Ontario.

There is only ONE toll road in all of Ontario, the 407 highway, and that is a by pass over the top of Toronto, to avoid the city traffic.

It will work on the New York thru way, which is the I- 90.

Where are some good locations in Pittsburgh to do a photoshoot? I did one in station square that turned out amazing, but I don't want to do another shoot there. I shoot again on Sunday. Any help would be great.I prefer somewhere outdoors but I'll shoot indoors too. Thanks!!|||The front of The Pennsylvanian, at the corner of Grant and Liberty. Beautiful brickwork and natural light. PPG Plaza if you want a stark mirrored look. The waterfall fountain under the convention center, if it's turned on! Also the waterfall plaza next to Heinz Hall, the tree-lined Beech Ave on the North Side, Phipps Conservatory, the CMU campus in Oakland. Lots of possibilities!|||Ohiopyle|||A steel mill.
