I live in Pittsburgh and am going on a trip to Florida tomorrow. I was wondering if after i go through security if I can buy a small bottle of liquor in the airport to take with me. of course it would stay in my carry on suitcase unopened but i'm curious as to first off if i'd be able to find a place in the airport to get liquor from and second if i'm aloud to bring it on the plane in a carry on suitcase with me.
cheers!|||Once in the air, they'll sell you a shot of alcohol for $5 each.
Beyond that, this is a list of all the vendors at Pittsburgh Airport (and there's no liquor stores):

Besides, most liquor stores in airports are of the "Duty Free" variety. This means they're taking advantage of the non-existent taxing on international travelers. And since you're not going on an international flight, they won't even let you shop here.
There are lots of Duty Free liquor shops in florida, but like I said, they won't let you shop there because your boarding pass isn't for an international flight.|||Strictly forbidden. Sorry kids!|||...Liquor in Pennsylvania is only sold at a STATE Liquor Store
