Traditionally, I understand Orthodox churches have fewer rows of pews (or no pews) compared to Western churches; however, every Orthodox church I've visited in Pittsburgh has a full complement of pews in the Western style. Are there any that have the more traditional, limited pew arrangement?|||http://orthodoxyinamerica.org/lr_v10/loc鈥?/a>

try ROCOR or Serbian|||Try looking for a ROCOR (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia) church.

Many Orthodox churches have pews because some of them used to be Protestant/Catholic churches. OCA (Orthodox Church of America) tend to have pews.|||From what I understand, Orthodox services are conducted while the congregation stands for the entire thing, so I'd figure they'd have less. Maybe it's for people who are sick or something and can't stand.|||I know there is one in Ligonier I have been to. It was an Antiochian Orthodox Church. Try an Antiochian one. They usually dont have pews. But I prefer my Greek Church with pews|||You prefer to stand?
