my mother has a brain aneurysm.
she needs to take a minimally invasive surgery at a pittsburgh, UPMC Presbyterian hospital.
she's a permanent resident of Canada, B.C, and will become a citizen shortly.
how can she go to USA and take this procedure? What do we need to go through in order for her to take this? Where do we go?
could you please explain to us the steps in detail?
thank you.|||I assume she has a passport??? From what country? From a lot of countries, you don't even need a visa. From many countries, it's no problem to get a visa. Even if she is Indian or something like that, your mother can show strong ties to Canada, and an intention to return to Canada, so she should probably be able to get a visa. She'll have to be honest about why she is going, and be able to show how the procedure will be paid for. She can't stick the hospital or the American tax payers with the bill. She won't get the visa if immigration thinks that she will try to run out on the bill.
