I'm going to pittsburgh, pa for a conference next week. Was just curious if anyone had any recommendations of some neat or interesting places to visit|||= You can go in Pure
The 7,000 square foot posh nightclub Pure opened in August 2006 in the Pittsburgh Strip District.|||A lot of it depends on pricing, but if you're willing to pay a little more for the downtown hotels, that's definitely where you should go. From downtown, you can walk to the cultural district, market square, the strip district, the North Shore, and it's just a mile walk to Station Square or a quick cab ride to the South Side. Plus, theres tons of restaurants right downtown. Off the top of my head, there's the Double Tree hotel (with a great restaurant inside of it), the Marriot, and the Omni William Penn (probably pittsburgh's best hotel). Theres also a good hotel, the Sheraton, at Station Square.
If you're looking to avoid the city prices, there are also some hotels in the nearby suburbs. I'd check out the places in Green Tree particularly. It's just 5 minutes outside of town, and it's a nice and quiet suburb.|||Heinz History Center in the Strip District. Fort Pitt Museum down at the point. Lots of theater options in the Cultural District in the evenings too. Station Square has lots of bar and restaurant options.|||Sun Shine is so CORRECT. Great place. Go to the strip district open air market too! Permante Brothers is there and that market is great!|||Primanti Brothers Deli
