I'm 16 and i plan on going December 26th to January 2nd (or maybe a later day in that week of January). Can somebody help me find a train or bus schedule that would coordinate with these dates or perhaps a *cheap* flight? Thanks! Oh and it doesn't have to be direct (there are no direct flights or trains from Pittsburgh usually)|||Here is the Greyhound (Bus) Lines schedule for the dates you specified. You will see that you have three options each for going to Montreal and returning to Pittsburgh.

To reach Greyhound in Pittsburgh by phone dial 412-392-6526.|||You can take a bus for around $200 round trip. It would require stop overs and it would take quite a while but if the cost is most important that's probably cheapest. You would be travelling for probably 15 to 20 hours each way.
Look on greyhound.ca for the buses and you can select your details and book it etc. You get a discount for 21 days or longer advanced booking.
Looking on Amtrak.com shows that there is no service between your destinations on the dates desired. So I don't know that a train would be an option.
Taking a plane would save you quite a lot of time over a bus but would likely cost 3 times as much as a bus. Doing a quick search on expedia.com shows a plane trip on your days would be close to $700.
The absolute cheapest way ofcourse would be hitchhiking. But thats illegal and potentially very dangerous.|||Hello, i think the best way would be you go to new york first, and then fly from new york to montreal, or you fly from Pittsburgh to Toronto, and then to Montreal. It's about $500 for a return flight. A little expensive because that date you chosen falls in the X'mas holiday i think.|||A train maybe? Or you might want to go on a shared bus for part of the trip to save money.
