And would you consider it an upset or a surprise if the Pittsburgh Steelers made it to the Super Bowl?|||Yeah, I always feel that even when they're on top they are still the underdog, but you know what, that's how we like our black and gold. We are loyal fans and all the doubters in the world manage to get surprised all of the time by the greatness which is The Pittsburgh Steelers.
Look at the payroll we have compared to the "powerhouse" teams, this is an amazing, family run organization.|||No and they won't. don't worry buddy. the low opinion is right.|||Ummmm, no. Overrated. But compared to the other teams in their division, theyre great!!!!!!!|||No. Most people who follow football recognize that after the Pats and Colts there are a few other solid teams like the Chargers and Steelers. The most underrated team in the AFC would be someone more like Cleveland, Jacksonville, or Tennessee.|||no, the steelers are not the most underrated team. the colts are they dont get the repsect they deserve even though they are the best team in the NFL. Hopefully people will recognize the colts greatness after they beat the patriots on sunday.|||no the giants are underrated. steelers will make it to the playoffs but DEFINATELY not the superbowl|||As a Steelers fan, I don't think they are underrated, in fact I think they are a bit overrated. You can't lose to a team like Arizona, and let a team like Denver drive on you late in a game like that. With the Colts and Pats playing like they are, it would definately be a shock if they went to the big show. GO STEELERS!|||No,the Titans and Jaguars are...bet you didn't even know they were both 5-2 just like the steelers, but you don't hear about them as much as the steelers...|||They might make the superbowl, but I don't think they are underrated. They are listed a one of the better teams in the AFC, but not as good as the Pats or the Colts, which is exactly what they are. They could win the whole thing, but at this point, they haven't shown they are better than the Colts or the Pats.|||no the patriots own all|||The Steelers suck. Their fans are a bunch of bandwagon jumpin douche bags.|||The Steelers are DEFINITELY the most underrated team in the AFC.
This is a team that's already beaten the Colts during the playoffs, in their own stadium.
And the last time the Patriots started the season with a long unbeaten streak, the Steelers ended it.
The Steelers can and will upset one of these teams in the AFC playoffs. Bank on it.|||well I have to say since they are in the divisions with the colts and pats, the attention does get taking away from them easily. I thought they were underrated going into the super bowl. Now, they are pretty good and will back it to the playoffs obviously.|||If they can somehow beat the patriots then i wiill believe you. They're not really amazing me. On the other hand, the Pats are.|||i dont think they are a J V team like Washington,or the Jets ,but they arent a top 15 team either.|||No where near underrated... every game you listen to, the announcers have a crush on Roethlisberger. Did you watch the Bengals/Steelers game this weekend? It was all about the Steelers and how wonderful they are, and how great they looked, and how they came up with the cure for AIDS. If the Bengals were winning by 21 or if they were losing by 3, it was all about the Steelers...|||i won't say they're the most underrated team in the AFC,and no i afraid they won't represent the AFC in the super bowl this yer|||I would say no because they are praised highly by a lot of the press, they have a contingency of athletes every year despite of free agency and yet are usually at the top, and there respected by most teams as probably the team to beat this year in their division. However , I would be surprized and it would be an upset for the Steelers to get to the Super bowl but stranger things have happened.|||The Steelers are good for 2 things...
#1 Imploding in mid season and falling off the charts .
#2 whining about the refs are out to get them and its the refs fault they are losing!
