I applied to the University of Pittsburgh's engineering school back in early December. They run on a rollings admissions and it has been at least 10 weeks and I have not heard back from them. My friend who applied a week or two after to me, with a major in biology received her letter in the middle of January. What should I do? Should I just continue to wait? Or should I email the admissions office asking about my admissions decision?|||Go ahead and email them. A University isn't going to alter their decision just because you ask for the status. It might have been lost in the mail.|||Yes! email them. You might want to include in the email some brief info on how well your senior year is progressing, especially new information not on your application. Have you won an award? Did you get notified of a private scholarship? Use this also as another opportunity to make your admission application shine and be personable.
Good luck soon to be fellow Pittsburgher!|||yeah
