After watching the AFC championship, one has to wonder if the game was supposed to be fixed (in the favor of the ravens) after all of the terrible bullshit calls made (or lack of calls needed by Pittsburgh). So how much did the refs get paid to completely screw over pittsburgh?|||They got played on some calls but so did the ravens the last time they played. Funny how karma is a ******.|||12 dollars, maybe 12.50|||what are you talking about go to sleep you need to cool down|||haa. they werrent even on our side and we still won.
STEELERS BABY.|||I know what you mean. There were so many penalties the refs were not calling, and it got to the point where a player ended up being taken off the field on a stretcher. The officiating crew really let too many penalties go in this game.|||The Steelers were babied, and yet when Kemo got pissed cause of the hands to the face he drew the penalty. Ravens fans just can't let it go.
All these Ravens fans always talk about hard hitting and how their defense is a bunch of smash mouth football players. Then they cry and whine about legal hits saying they are illegal. They cry and whine when Flacco gets sacked, but yet when there are holding calls NOT called us Steelers fans have become so used to it. Even the announcers said late hits on Ben, and they weren't called.
Im a Steelers fan and I understand there wasn't a roughing the kicker, but I think what the ref saw was his hand grab his foot AFTER the ball was kicked. It didn't give us points, we won fair and square, poor Ed Reed had no INT and you guys lost.|||It doesn't even matter. The best team won!!!!!|||Are you kidding? Did you see the phantom roughing the kicker call? A fifteen yard penalty setting up Pitt (which led to no points anyways) on Baltimore's 35 yard line. Replays showed how bad of a call it was considering he didn't even touch him. I will give credit to the kicker though because if this football thing doesn't work out he has a career in acting. I was rooting for Pitt but that was rough. The non pass interference call against Arizona to end the game was a bad call also.|||too much|||about 7 dollars|||You cannot afford so don't ask. winks!|||I was going to flame you for suggesting the Steelers won because of bad calls.
But yeah, there were a few calls that went to Ravens way that seemed questionable. And Pittsburgh has had a lot of that this season.
Sometimes I wonder if refs make calls to keep games closer than they should. But it's all speculation.
In the end the team that deserved to win, did win. So no harm no foul.|||Yeah they screwd over pittsburgh and made no calls for the ravens in the process while pittsburgh still wins. how about when clark nearly killed mcgahee and no call was made? yeah they screwd over pittsburgh alright|||The game was called horribly, but on both sides of the ball. There were a ton of non-calls when Harrison was held. But let's not forget that BS roughing the kicker call that Berger drew by losing his balance at the same time that a Raven accidentally might have barely touched his toe.|||The Steelers get babied in every single game by the refs. GTFO.
