I need a pet airline that is reliable, safe, climate controlled, treats the animals well, and flies from Michigan to Pittsburgh? Anywhere in Michigan would be good and at least around Pittsburgh? Thanks for your help.|||There are ots of pet transport services. you will just have to call a couple and ask about that specific trip and their perks and fees.|||First check which airlines fly from where you want to fly from in Michigan to Pittsburgh
Once you have the airlines that fly, you can then call them and see what their pet regulations are.
Some airlines do not allow pets. Some only allow up to 2 pets inside the airplane at one time and then they have to be small in a carrier that will fit under the seat in front of you -- and small enough pet so that it will be able to stand up and turn around in the carrier during the flight.
And they do not allow pets to fly in cargo in hot weather (if it is a larger pet) and a longer flight.
So you just have to check with each airline to see what their requirements and regulations are
And it is expensive --- $150 to $ 200 or more each way to fly your pet.|||Any of them will cost a lot, probably easier just to drive if you can- if its a small pet, you can carry it on with you if your going as well. All the same, your looking at around 150 bucks after updating shots if needed, getting all documents from the vet, etc. http://petairways.com/content/pet-airlin鈥?/a> they offer the best service, but chicago to phily is the closest option they have.
