I'm a high school senior and i just applied to the nursing program at the University of Pittsburgh - Main Campus. I have a 3.65 gpa and im in the top 20% of my class out of 300. I've been playing tennis for three years, basket ball for one, and managed the team for the last three years. I'm also in National Honor Society and Envirothon. The school has a total of 16,000 + undergrads, 450 of which are nursing students. Its a relatively competative school...what are my chances?|||The University of Pittsburgh is becoming more and more competitive every year. It's medical program is famed nation-wide (it's probably known worldwide, actually). I think you have a decent chance of getting in, but your SAT scores will be important, as well. If you haven't taken them, then you need to, and obviously, you need to do your best.
It's good that you are involved in a lot of activities. Schools always like to see that. Definitely apply to Pitt. If you do well on your SATs, I think you will have a good chance of being accepted.
Good luck!|||I got in with very, very poor SATs....

|||The university of pittsburgh isn't really too competitive. I was looking into it also.Well, I think you'll get in. You seem like a well rounded, smart, focused student.
Pittsburgh is a great city for college, my sister went to Duquesne and said so.
I hope to possibly get in for studio arts.
