I was reading the Yahoo! News Article about the very violent protests going on in Pittsburgh, PA right now, the city hosting the upcoming G-20 Summit.

It described a man with a "Don't tread on me" flag from Wisconsin, which has been linked to the tea parties. Then it talked about liberals in the protests. After that, it referenced many anarchists, like one from Sarycuse, NY.

Why are so many different political views protesting together and what were they protesting?|||I dont know but the police and the news are calling them unlawful assemblies. I dont have to agree with them to know they have the first amendment and that is the only law they need. No assembly is unlawful. We have the first amendment with or without permission.|||Well, the G20 represent the Strongest Military/Financial powers around the world. These people are protesting what they see as a Meeting of Global Elites making decisions that effect regular people's lives.

Essentially, this is what the "Tea Baggers" really should be protesting, if they had the opportunity to analyze the situation deeper than Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh allow them to.

The anti-globalization movement has been around for decades and is very strong. "The "9/12 Project" is meant to distract people from protests like the g20 summit because it keeps people divided and distracted.|||These people remind me of the "fans" that "celebrate" their sports teams championship by rolling over cars and setting fires to them.

They are just looking for attention and don't have a clue about what the event is about.|||Just passing time.|||they do not have a clue ! most of them are dopey kids and radical dopers with no jobs or any goals in life...
